Amazon Lately | Prime Day Deals Part 1
Hi Friends! I'm linking up with Tanya over at The Other Side of the Road for this monthly blog post. I found some really great things for Amazon Prime Day plus some of my all-time favorites and I can’t wait to share them with you!
Before we get to the goods I want to make sure you know that Amazon is offering a bunch of free trials right now.
Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial: Prime membership offers amazing benefits like free shipping and exclusive ways to shop, stream, and save!
Audible Plus Free Trial: A brand new all-you-can-listen membership that offers access to thousands of titles, including a vast array of audiobooks, podcasts, and originals that span genres, lengths, and formats.
Amazon Prime Music 30-day Free Trial: This membership program offers special benefits including ad-free streaming of over a million songs and streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows.
You can also get Kindle Unlimited 6, 12, and 24-month membership plans. But I don’t see a free trial for this. Membership includes unlimited reading from over 1 million ebooks and unlimited listening to thousands of audiobooks. Plus you can read your books on any device you download the free Kindle app.
My Amazon Prime Day Favorites July 2022
1. Echo Dot
“Alexa!” I don’t know about you but I talk to Alexa all the time. We talk about the weather, sports, and current events. She even tells me jokes when I need a laugh. We have one upstairs and one downstairs plus our Portal acts as an Alexa device. The kids like to use it to play music and games like The Floor is Lave. I do have to unplug it sometimes because you can only take so much Baby Shark before your head explodes 🤯
2. Fire Stick with Alexa Voice Remote
I’ve mentioned multiple times that I use a Fire Stick to watch TV and I’m a firm believer that you should always have extras! Accidents happen, drinks get spilled, and they get lost in the toybox so I always have at least one extra still in the box ready to go. I’m thinking about getting some of these silicone covers which will make them easier to see. They even have some that glow in the dark.
3. iLuv Wireless Earbuds
You might remember I reviewed these earbuds back in December 2021. I ended up receiving them as a Christmas gift from my grandsons and I have to say they are AWESOME! The sound is amazing and there’s no static or crackling like you get with some other earbuds. They hold a charge for over 20 hours and you can hardly see them in my ears.

4. Meta Portal Go - Portable Smart Video Calling
We love our Portal! My daughter has one and we use it all the time to talk to each other. It’s so convenient and I really like how the camera moves with you and refocuses if you’re moving around the room. We even use it to talk to my cousins in Italy. Plus, I upload all of the photos from my phone and it acts as a digital picture frame when we’re not a call.
You can download different apps and even watch videos with it. I really like this one because it’s portable! You can pick it up and bring it to another room with you while you’re still using it.
5. Kindle Paperwhite
I previously reviewed this back in January 2022 right after Christmas. I use it all the time and it’s so much easier to handle than my tablet or even my phone. It’s super thin and so light you can take it everywhere with you. I was getting a little nervous about scratching it or dropping it so I bought this cute case. I love that it has a little pocket in the front, my phone fits perfectly!
My All-Time Amazon Favorites
1. Theragun Mini
I was in a car accident when I was younger and have problems with my neck. And, now that I’m older, I have problems with my back too 😂 so I use this Theragun Mini all the time. It’s not too heavy and the shape of it makes it super easy to use by yourself.
I’ve seen this go for as high as $199 but right now it’s listed for $147 and there’s a coupon for $11 off so if you’ve been looking to pick one up… now’s the time.
2. Turkish Cotton Beach Towels
These towels are our new favorites. Little by little I’ve been getting rid of all our old towels and replacing them with Turkish towels. These oversized quick dry beach towels are made from 100% Organic Turkish cotton.
They roll up to half the size which makes them perfect for beach, pool, spa, sauna, gym, yoga, travel, camping, and picnics. They only take up about a quarter of the space of a traditional plush towel so you will save lots of space.
3. Canon Ivy Mini Printer
I know you’ve heard me talking about this little Ivy Mini Printer and this kit is a great deal! It includes the canon ivy wireless mini photo printer, in slate gray, a 20 pack of ZINK photo paper pack, and a black canon mini portable printer case with a hero-fiber ultra gentle cleaning cloth.
4. Vercord Purse Organizer
I love carrying a big purse but everything always gets lost at the bottom. This organizer keeps everything where I put it so I can grab what I need without searching through the abyss at the bottom of my purse for 10 minutes. There are a few different brands available but I highly recommend this one. It’s made with high-quality, premium nylon, even the pockets. Some of the other brands I looked at had mesh pockets which didn’t look as nice as this one.
5. Charging Station
Are you tired of all the cords everywhere? Me too! I recently picked up this charging station and it’s been a life-saver! Everything stays together, nice and neat.
