Level 10 Life Free Printable Worksheet
I first discovered “level 10 life” a few years ago when I started using a bullet journal for daily planning.
It’s had a big impact on my life and how I look toward my future. I had been setting goals but they were very random and I rarely achieved them.
This layout helped me find a direction for my goals and my personal development. Hopefully, it will help you find your best life the same way it has helped me.
You can grab your download below but first here’s a little more info on how it works.
What is Level 10 Life
Hal Elrod created the Level 10 Life in his bestselling book “The Miracle Morning”. He explains it like this: “If we’re measuring our levels of success/satisfaction in any area of our lives, we all want to be living our best lives at a 'Level 10' in each area”.
How Does Level 10 Life Work?
STEP ONE: Setup and evaluation
Start off by creating a circle or bar graph divided into 10 parts, one for each of your major life areas. Assess each area from 1 to 10 based on the way you feel about it right now.
Be honest with yourself when you’re evaluating. Base your assessments on your own feelings, not the expectations of someone else!
Now, color the sections of each area according to how many points you gave to each area.
STEP TWO: Write out your goals
Take a minute to look over your chart. Think about what would make you feel like a certain area of your life is at a level 10?
These should be your goals!
Work through this process for each area of your life, one at a time.
Here’s a great example of a finished layout that I found on Instagram…

Areas of Level 10 Life
The original idea suggested by Hal Elrod has 10 different areas that encompass everything important and influential in your life. Together these areas create a full detailed picture of your current situation.
GETTING STARTED
Choose one goal at a time — we all have the habit of getting overzealous in our personal goals and start out wanting to lose weight, diet and exercise, clean out the clutter, take a class, earn a certificate, etc. And then, we spiral out of control and fail at all of the above. Concentrate on one goal at a time and focus on that.
Write down your goals. Writing down your goals makes them more real and in turn, makes you more accountable for your actions.
Begin to get excited and it will show. The more you get excited about what you're doing, the more inspired you will feel, and the more momentum you will create.
Follow-through. Break down your goal into smaller more manageable tasks. Then work through each task until they’re complete.
Celebrate the smaller successes. Always reward yourself when you achieve a goal! It’s a big deal and you should treat it that way.
Here are a few ideas on how to evaluate and make your assessments.
CAREER
Examine and explore which area of your career is not working.
Ask yourself what your end goal is — do you want to retire earlier, work fewer hours, or have more power? What is your end goal?
Once you have discovered your end goal, start creating a plan of action.
Pick five action steps, beginning with the smallest.
Take one small action step per day for a set amount of time.
FINANCES
What’s your story? We all have stories about money. It’s your job to uncover your story.
Once you uncover your negative money story and self-sabotaging habits surrounding money, you can now write your own brand new story.
Start practicing positive money affirmations. Positive thoughts create prosperity so take up the practice of positive thinking.
Practice these daily.
RELATIONSHIPS
Be honest about who you are.
Take a look at your actions, thoughts, and pre-conceived notions when relating to others.
Ask how we can show up as a contribution to the other person.
SPIRITUALITY
Allow and accept what works for you.
Spirituality success comes when you accept who you are and what works for you.

SUPPLIES I RECOMMEND FOR PRINTING
A PRINTER
If you’re going to be printing in color, I really recommend investing in an HP Instant Ink-compatible printer. The quality of the finished product is amazing! If you don’t need a color printer, I highly recommend a laser printer like the Brother L23 Series. You will save hundreds on ink. You can also get a color laser printer which I would LOVE to have!
PAPER
For everyday printables, planners, and coloring pages for the kiddos I normally use Hammermill Printer Paper, 20 Lb. I love that you can get a small box of 3 reams instead of having to buy one at a time or a whole case of 10.
If I want something a little nicer, I use this laser paper which is incredibly smooth and has very little to no ghosting on the other side. This is perfect if you like to use pens/markers that are prone to bleeding through to the other side.
For printing on A5 paper, I use this Blank 6-Hole Punched A5 Paper. You can also get it without the holes but it’s $6-7 more. Which I think is odd because it’s usually the other way around and you have to pay more for the hole punching.
If you're printing a binder cover that is fade-resistant and lasts a long time, I would recommend the best paper using Epson Presentation paper. It's heavy like cardstock (48 lb), is great when laminated, and is made to last for decades.
